Have You ALREADY Submitted Your Application?

If you've already submitted your application to be evaluated for VERIFIED Canadian ™ status and inclusion in our Business Directories, please be patient as our in-process queue as big as Niagara Falls (well, maybe not quite that big), and it grows daily! We carefully review each and every submission and interact with applicants (as often as necessary) to ensure that our visitors will find the kind of information they are looking for.

Generally, we try to process applications in first-come first serve order, however some applications may get routed to "special processing" for various reasons (missing information, inconsistent details, problems with submitted data).

Here are some tips to ensure your application gets processed as quickly as possible:
  • Fill in ALL the fields -- Regardless of what you offer, it is important that you fill in ALL the appliaction fields. You may enter 'NA', 'None', or 'NIL' as applicable, but you must enter something. Leaving a field blank will almost guarantee you the scenic route to our directories!
  • Are you SURE you're 100% Canadian-PERSON-owned? -- To qualify for our 100% Canadian-person-owned designation, every individual person who owns any share of your business must be a Canadian Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident of Canada. If ANY portion of your company is owned by another company, that company must be 100% Canadian-person-owned as well (right up to the top levels of ownership). This is how we sort our REALLY Canadian owned companies from transnationals who hide behind local corporations and only look Canadian.
  • EXPLAIN your "Made in Canada" products -- If you claim to produce products which do not include ANY imported materials, please explain in detail. Also, keep in mind that REALLY Made IN Canada ™ does NOT rely on (politically-driven, fluctuating) government guidelines for "Made in Canada" - our audience expects more and we strive to deliver it. That's why our application does not ask if your products are "Made in Canada" - we want to know about ANY and ALL materials/components which came from outside of Canada - regardless of percentage.
  • Are you SURE you're not using imported materials? -- Please carefully consider any claims you make about the origins of materials / components used in your products. If you claim that you're not using ANY imported materials, EXPLAIN how you know that. Again, we do NOT accept government definitions of "Made in Canada" components to mean not including ANY imported materials.
  • Add as much detail as you like! -- Feel free to add as much detail as you like for any of our form fields - especially if you are talking about the origins of your products / components. If you have to rely on imported goods, please explain why - our audience understands the difficulties Canadian manufacturers have in sourcing 100% Canadian materials and will consider your explanation.
  • Check your email address -- Be sure that your email address is correct and you have added us to your 'Friends List' - otherwise, you may not get our application and we will not be able to reach you to discuss your submission.
